Opening at the Corey Helford Galley this coming Saturday, January 24th, is “Tracking The Wounded†by Joey Remmers and guest artist Devin Crane “Love & Tearsâ€.
Joey Remmers began tattooing at age 19 and then moved into fine art. He has since shown at galleries like CoproNason, M Modern, Fuse Gallery, and Thinkspace Gallery. He is currently working with Fender Guitars on some custom products.
Devin Crane, a southern California artist as Joey is, was inpsired by the Film Peter Pan and even went on to work for Disney Imagineering and Warner Bros. Feature Animation. He did some work on Kung Fu Panda, Shrek 2 &3 and Iron Giant, and showed in Gallery 1988’s “Crazy 4 Cult” and “I Am 8 Bit” exhibitions.
