Cthulhu Relic Statue

May 24, 2007

I was looking around for cool Lovecraft based art, and stumbled upon this little statue. Its around 5″ tall and looks pretty cool. It’s only $10!

If you look on the artists website he has made some pretty impressive Cthulhu statues, I wouldnt mind having one of the larger ones.

Two Bob Zombie originals

May 23, 2007

I just found two original paintings by an artist that goes by “Bob Zombie”. If you look at the pieces there is an obvious Michael Hussar influence, but also a little bit of Chet Zar. Both of these pieces are great, they’re both oil on canvas panel and both are 8″x8″.

I’m really surprised no one is snagging these works. Hopefully I’ll have some more info on this artist soon. Until then, heres the link to his auctions.

“The Possessed” by Luke Chueh

May 23, 2007

Luke Chueh original painting “The Possessed” has finally been turned into a vinyl toy by Munkyking. There are two version a white version (1000 made) and a black version (250 made).

There is also a silkscreen print available, for those who maybe don’t collect vinyl figures. It’s 9×13″ on chipboard and only 250 of them will be made. The print is available now, it looks like you’ll have to wait till the 31st release party for the figures.

Original Painting by Ian D Seniff

May 23, 2007

Teh above piece is entitled “Boo Who?”, its 10×15″ and is made with ink, acrylic and pencil on bristol board.

I think the piece looks great, the brushwork on it looks very energetic. This piece only has 10 hours left so don’t wait.

He also has another auction that is quite unique, head on over to check it out. Both are helping this artist out as well as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Original work from Sarah Joncas

May 23, 2007

Sarah Joncas (the first interview I had here) has a few available works at the Thinkspace Gallery.
As of yet none of them have been bought. Two smaller study paintings and one large 24×24 dyptich painting. The 12.6 “Bottom Feeder Study” (above) looks amazing, but of course I would be happy owning any of them.

She also has a show coming up this weekend that I will post. So, alot of her work will be available soon, so no point in waiting to buy.

Joe Ledbetter original

May 21, 2007

There is a pretty good amount of Joe Ledbetter prints on eBay if your looking. There is also an original up there right now.

It acrylic on wood I believe, 16 x20. I guess this is one in which Joe calls his “Frankenstein” piece, a culmination of all his characters into one. Looks pretty cool (right side up at least), I would like to see a better picture of it though.

New Prints at Copro Nason

May 20, 2007

Copro Nason Gallery has some new prints for sale. Adding to their already killer print selection is some new works by the following artists: Naoto Hattori (above print), Amy Sol, and Thomas Han.

Each one of these new prints are framed, and each seem to be a giclee on board. Being framed already is quite convenient, you can buy one these prints and then just put it up on the wall, as opposed to having to store the prints till you can afford to frame them. Like I have to do.

Audrey Kawasaki Prints

May 16, 2007

There are two Audrey Kawasaki prints up right now.

The first one is “Nest Hair”, and is a giclee of 100, 23×18
The second one is “YUME NO ATO” also a giclee edition of 100, 13×16.

I like the second one the best, I also really like the price of it, if it stays low that is.
