Now Online: Marion Peck @ Sloan Fine Art

Last week Marion Peck’s solo exhibition “Ladies & Clowns” opened at Sloan Fine Art in New York. I’m not the biggest fan of Marion’s work, but the paintings in the show look fantastic , I’m sure in person they are even more amazing. I posted three painting that I especially liked from the lineup of works.

“Life Drawings” one night exhibition by Michael Hussar

Coming this Saturday, May 23rd, is a one night exhibition featuring some new drawings by Michael Hussar. All of the works appear to be charcoal/graphite on paper and all are framed. Now Online: Jeff Soto’s “Inland Empire” @ StolenSpace Gallery

Just this past Thursday, May 14th, Jeff Soto’s latest solo show opened at the StolenSpace Gallery in London. This new show features over twenty new paintings as well as the release of a new limited edition screen print(shown). The print is a 5 color hand pulled print, roughly 22″ x 30″, signed and numbered in an edition of 65. As of writing this there are only 8 prints left.

Head on over and take a look at the all the works in the show, they look amazing. You can also order signed copies of Jeff’s “Storm Clouds” book as well.

Preview: Rick “Dienzo” Blanco @ Hyaena Gallery

Rick “Dienzo” Blanco has a new solo show coming up this Saturday, May 16th. The show is entitled “Vampyrically Speaking” and features all new acrylic paintings. Preview: Audrey Kawasaki @ Space Yui in Tokyo

Audrey Kawasaki has a solo show coming up this weekend at the Space Yui Gallery in Tokyo. The show is entitled “Watching Shadows” or “Kageboushi”, and will feature new paintings some sold-out prints as well as a new print to be released. Audrey has these works for preview on her blog so I wanted to share them here, these are some of her most exciting works yet. She has a couple more of those laser cut works as well as some paintings on irregular shaped wood. It looks amazing.

Preview: Andrew Bell @ Rivet Gallery

Coming this Saturday, May 2nd at the Rivet Gallery in Columbus, OH is “It’s What’s Inside That Counts” a solo show featuring new works by Andrew Bell. The show reception is on that Saturday and while Andrew will be present at the reception from 7-11pm, he will also be at the gallery that Friday for a “casual q&a” session. So if your around make sure you stop by for both nights.

The show is online to view and it looks amazing. I really dig the variety of mediums that Andrew has in the show, as well as the price range. There is something there for everyone. Here is just a preview of some of the works, visit the gallery for the full show.

Preview: “The Conservatory” by Kelly Vivanco

Coming June 12th Thinkspace Gallery will be hosting two solo shows, “Beneath the Seams” by Sarah Joncas and “The Conservatory” by Kelly Vivanco. Some of the works that Kelly will have in the show have been featured as a preview and I had to share them. I have been a fan of her work for quite some time, her work just keeps getting better. This preview shows how intense her work is getting, and that glow her paintings seem to have has just been amplified. Can’t wait to see the whole show!
